May 2015 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This is my entry for the May Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This is a monthly challenge.  This month's challenge was to use the inspiration photo to design a card.

The inspiration photo for this challenge:

Blog Hop Inspiration

And here is my card inspired by this photo:

All supplies are from Papertrey Ink.

I used the Mighty Bloom Cover Plate which I cut out of PTI Stamper's Select White card stock.  I used a blending tool to ink up each leaf in PTI inks in a rainbow of colors.  I used the cover plate to position the leaves, and then removed the color plate.  I used a sentiment from Keep It Simple: Birthday.

Such a fun and cheery card!

  1. Oh my, what a great choice to use the Mighty Bloom leaves in a beautiful variety of colors. All your work was definitely worth it as it is very striking.

  2. I was hoping someone would use this cover plate in rainbow colors! This took a lot of time and care and it turned out beautifully, Terry!! Enjoy the hop! Hugs, Darnell

  3. Oh, this is gorgeous! I love your take on the inspiration photo!
