May 2015 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This is my entry for the May Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This is a monthly challenge.  This month's challenge was to use the inspiration photo to design a card.

The inspiration photo for this challenge:

Blog Hop Inspiration

And here is my card inspired by this photo:

All supplies are from Papertrey Ink.

I used the Mighty Bloom Cover Plate which I cut out of PTI Stamper's Select White card stock.  I used a blending tool to ink up each leaf in PTI inks in a rainbow of colors.  I used the cover plate to position the leaves, and then removed the color plate.  I used a sentiment from Keep It Simple: Birthday.

Such a fun and cheery card!

For the Graduate

My cousin is graduating tomorrow with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and I needed a card.   So proud of her!  I just got delivery this week of my first Sue Wilson dies from Scrapyland.com and wanted to try them out.

I love these dies!  And I already have some more on order.

The paper is Papertrey Ink Stamper's Select White.

The sentiment on the outside of the card is Papertrey Ink set For the Graduate  https://www.papertreyink.com/stamps/for-the-graduate-stamp-set/

Dies used are Sue Wilson Noble Collection Ornate Pierced Rectangles http://www.scrapyland.com/NEW-Sue-Wilson-Designs--Nobel-Collection--Ornate-Pierced-Rectangles_p_68625.html

and Noble Collection Classic Adorned Rectangles  http://www.scrapyland.com/NEW-Sue-Wilson-Designs--Nobel-Collection--Classic-Adorned-Rectangles_p_68624.html

The inside sentiment is from Papertrey Ink - Tucked In:  Congratulations  https://www.papertreyink.com/stamps/tucked-in-congratulations-mini-stamp-set/

I'm entering this card into the Scrapyland Challenge #17.  http://www.scrapyland-blog.com/2015/05/challenge-17.html    Anything goes using dies they sell.
