May 2015 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This is my entry for the May Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This is a monthly challenge.  This month's challenge was to use the inspiration photo to design a card.

The inspiration photo for this challenge:

Blog Hop Inspiration

And here is my card inspired by this photo:

All supplies are from Papertrey Ink.

I used the Mighty Bloom Cover Plate which I cut out of PTI Stamper's Select White card stock.  I used a blending tool to ink up each leaf in PTI inks in a rainbow of colors.  I used the cover plate to position the leaves, and then removed the color plate.  I used a sentiment from Keep It Simple: Birthday.

Such a fun and cheery card!

For the Graduate

My cousin is graduating tomorrow with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and I needed a card.   So proud of her!  I just got delivery this week of my first Sue Wilson dies from and wanted to try them out.

I love these dies!  And I already have some more on order.

The paper is Papertrey Ink Stamper's Select White.

The sentiment on the outside of the card is Papertrey Ink set For the Graduate

Dies used are Sue Wilson Noble Collection Ornate Pierced Rectangles

and Noble Collection Classic Adorned Rectangles

The inside sentiment is from Papertrey Ink - Tucked In:  Congratulations

I'm entering this card into the Scrapyland Challenge #17.    Anything goes using dies they sell.
